Tupperware DIY....But its not food!!

I keep telling people, Tupperware isn't just a food storage solution. Its a life solution. There are so many ways to use these products outside of just storing your leftovers, that its hard to even fanthom them all. Even I am challenged sometimes to think of new creative uses. But luckily I don't always have to. You know that old saying about not reinventing the wheel..well I'm not going to. Besides, Tupperware is already on that bandwagon and has some great ideas. I found this idea in a Tupperware blog dated in 2016...DIY makeup remover! Can you believe it? I never would have thought of it! It's genius!

I don't know about you, but I use makeup remover all the time and it is not cheap!! Its a cosmetic product afterall, and you know there is a huge mark up. At this stage of my life, soap and water doesn't cut it anymore. It cleans my skin fine, but it falls short of making me look as youthful outside as I feel inside (okay, maybe I'm asking too much). I need something just a bit gentler and nourishing for my face. But the fact remains if you like to know what you're putting on your skin, isn't full of ingredients and chemical additives that you can't pronounce, then I say DIY is the way to go!!!

These small containers are our snack cups (SKU 595). They are 4 oz capacity and have liquid tight seals, and never in a million years I'll wager did you think you could do this with them, right? The recipe will stay fresh in these snack cups for 3 months, which is about the quantity of remover it makes. You can find them in our products if you're interested.

When I started in this business, it was because Tupperware was saving me time, and/or saving me money. I wanted to show others how to do the same. This idea fits the bill for me on both counts. AND its environmentally friendly and very easy to make. There are no extravagent, expensive ingredients to buy, just items you can get at your local drugstore or any store that carries cosmetics.
