Hey there...I'm glad you stopped by. Can we talk? grab a coffee and sit awhile. I want to tell you about the Tupperware opportunity. Yes, I said opportunity. Tupperware can be an opportunity on so many levels. It all depends on what you're looking for and what's important to you. How involved you will be or want to be in your business is your choice. I find when I talk to people about the opportunity, they are somewhat guarded, like maybe I want them to hand over their first born child or they are waiting for the catch because they know there has to be one, right? I get it..there are lots of companies out there that are making huge promises to people, setting the expectation bar really high but the reality most often falls really short of hitting the mark. So I thought maybe if I took some time to address the biggest questions people have with honesty and integrity, it might help people decide if Tupperware can be a career for them, whether it be part time, full time, whatever. so here it goes..
#1. Why Tupperware?
This is an easy one for me. Tupperware has been around a long time. In fact this year they celebrated their 70th Anniversary of being in business. Not many companies can say that these days. For a company to have that kind of history in business, says alot to me . What is it saying you ask? It says that this company is still in business after 70 years because its doing alot of things right People trust the Tupperware name because they've grown up with it in their homes. It was in their mother's and grandmother's kitchens and treasured peices may have been handed from Mother to daughter. Tupperware has products that people like to buy. People most often make that buying decision because they have a need. Sometimes they act on impulse, but most often they think about how their purchase will make their lives better. Will it save them time? or money? Will they really use it? When I think about the Tupperware I've purchased over the years, I can honestly say that many of those buys are still in my kitchen today as my go tos. Of course I'm always happy to add items I like because they are decorative, whimsical and make me happy, but all my bigger ticket items were purchased because my family benefited from it by making my life easier.
The Tupperware brand was/is also important to me. The brand stands for durability, innovation and dependability. This is really important to me as a consultant. I feel very strongly about integrity and I could never sell something to people that wasn't strong, dependable or durable. As I mentioned people grew up with Tupperware and they know its dependable and it will withstand the normal rigors of everyday use. Case in point...My husband and I like to go to garage sales on weekends( also known as yard sales, estate sales depending where in the world you are. Its something we both enjoy and we can do it together, so that's a bonus right there. He likes to look at tools, and fishing gear, you know..man stuff. I on the other hand like to look at kitchenwares, crafting supplies and the like. You know, girl stuff. So last weekend I came across a vintage Tupperware Colander and a Store and Pour Pitcher! I talked to the lady running the sale. They were clearing out her mother's kitchen after she recently passed and these were her housewares. Her mom had had those Tup pieices for years. How many? she wasnt sure, maybe 30! they were pristine...not a mark or scratch on them, despite what I am sure was years and years of use. I immediately bought them(for a song I might add!) and whimsically posted them to my Tupperware facebook group. Instantaneously, people were telling me that their mother's had these items, some 38 years ago! wow. That is what the tupperware brand means to me. There is also the matter of that lifetime guarantee. Companies dont offer a lifetime warranty on products unless they know they are made to last. Now, let's be 100 here ..the guarantee means the product is covered against defect and damage such as peeling, cracking, chipping or breakage under normal wear and tear. When your Tupperware gets messed up because you keep a bowl too close to a hot pan and it accidentally melted a peice of the rim(this may or may not have happened in my kitchen), well even the Fairy godmother herself would tell you, sorry, that's on you! Every product comes with an information brochure to tell you how to care for it and use it. If you follow that, you're golden. If not, well, that's not Tupperware's fault is it?
Another reason I said Yes to the Opportunity was because I love the products I've purchased. I love them because of what they do for me and my family in terms of saving time and money and I wanted to share that with other families. I recall sometimes, when I was in the corporate world, working a full day and finally getting home, I'd then have to stand at the kitchen counter and prep meats and vegtables for dinner. Don't get me wrong...I love to cook, but after you've been away from the home for 10 or 11 hours, just bring on the glass of vino because you aren't that motivated or creative. Meals were lack lustre some times, and take-out was a reality. THAT is an expense all its own. We even tried those chef inspired menus, where they deliver the box to your house with all the ingredients for a meal included and you follow the directions. Fool proof? Maybe but they are expensive and their portions way to small to satisfy my hard working husband. But I discovered and purchased a few good tools like the Power Chef, and they made all the difference. What was laborious, could be done in a few minutes. The time I saved prepping, was spent doing other things. Imagine if you are a working mother either in the home or outside; time is at a premium, especially when there are kids! Life is so busy these days with school, homework, kids outside activities, sports..the list goes on. So any product that saves time is a winner in my books! And what about saving money? They definitely have saved me money. There are many ways, some small, some bigger but they all add up. I can't even tell you how many hundreds of dollars I wasted on produce that went bad before we could use it. It was wasteful and as I said very expensive. Then I found the Fridgesmart containers....(I swear I hear heavenly music!)..they are hands down my favorite peices of tupperware. I rarely throw any produce out anymore. It stays nice and fresh long enough for us to use it!! And my fridge stays super organized now. I can actually see what on the shelves and in my Fridgesmarts...Did I tell you I love those things? I wanted to share those savings with others.
# 2 What about a start up cost? Is this going to be an expensive venture? That's a great question, and one of the first I had. The answer is No. This is how it works. You can become a consultant for as little as $39 down. That $39 will get you your consultant's business kit. The kit consists of Tupperware's top 10 selling items, Plus the big Tupperware carry bag and the apron. All told the value is $440. As a new consultant, you will be enrolled in a program called "Confident start". It is designed to take you through 7 levels of sales acheivements, all the while earning great gifts or peices of tupperware for free. These can be used in your home or added to your kit for demos. In 60 days, if you've completed your confident start program, you will owe nothing further for your start up kit. If you do not, or choose not to complete confident start(I'll talk about this in just a bit), then 60 days after your start, you will be billed an additional $70 and you'll owe nothing further. As a bonus in September for saying "Yes" to the opportunity, you wll also have the option of purchasing the MicroPro Grill for only $50! it has a regular value of $249, so that's a steal of an offer!! For September only there is an additional opportunity to earn 2 sets of those fantastic Fridgesmarts for only $30! I mentioned before that if you choose not to complete the confident start program, you can pay the $109 cost upfront and recieve all the items in the business kit. No other committment. The fact is that the offer is so good, lots of ladies just take the business kit and receive those best sellers at approximately 25% of the retail cost and have no intention of moving forward. That's okay too. What makes this doubly attractive is that even if you have no intention of selling, you could still take advantage of the offer on the MicroPro Grill and for the next 12 months enjoy wholesale pricing on any Tupperware you want for yourself or your family.
#3 Realistically, how much can I make selling Tupperware? well let me ask you this...how hard do you want to work? What kind of income are you looking for? One of the greatest advantages to being your own boss, is being able to set your own hours. You can do it on your schedule. Going on vacation? no problem. If you have access to a computer or mobile, you can still work (although not too much. Remember, you're on vacation!) Tupperware is full of some highly successful women who have built careers, while still raising children and looking after a family. Kids' concert? no problem. baseball game? they managed their business around the needs of their families. Some of these women drive Tupperware cars, make very lucrative incomes, and go on amazing trips in addition to fantastic bonuses! You decide, its your life what can work for you! Tupperware highlights these successful ladies all the time and you'll be able to share their stories!
#4 I'm just not sure. I've never done sales. New is always kind of scary. Anytime you step outside your comfort zone, and try things you've never done, there is always a fear factor. Will I be able to do this? Is this going to work out? I I remember the first time I had to public speak. I was working for a charity at the time and part of my job was speaking about the organization and how donations were spent, etc. I was so nervous but I had to do it. I was committed. I'm sure the quiver in my voice gave me away(that and my beet red face), but I just kept on going and managed to complete my presentation. And it turns out, I was actually pretty good at it! I was even asked by some of the member agencies to speak at their fundraising meetings. My point is, you never know what you can do unless you try. Did I mention you'd have some support and training resources? But of course. Tupperware WANTS you to be successful, so they have online training resources as well as webmeetings, workshops, etc. You will also have the support of your manager, and other directors. They will help you as much as you want or need. That's my pitch. There are some great rewards and opportunities ahead for you, if that's what you want and you're willing to try.

So, are you in? If you think this is an opportunity for you, and you live anywhere in Canada, then please.....email me lizbrontupperwarekindagal@gmail.com. Let's get you started!
